Basics of Working with a Pattern Beginner- VIRTUAL

This is a one session class to get you started. Choose a beginner level pattern and let us guide you through the process of cutting, layout and getting started. After taking this session you can sign up for a regular pattern basics class. This is for students who have not used a pattern before or it’s been a long while and want to start with the basics!

If you have a credit from a class that will be cancelled this spring you may use the credit. Please contact me to register.

Pre-Requisites

Supplies

A pattern of your choice, and fabric and notions for that pattern.

You will also need basic sewing tools:
pins
scissors or rotary cutter and matt
chalk or other marking tool

Please reach out to Firecracker Fabrics if you need to place an order for class. There are also lots of patterns that are in PDF form you can download and print right at home!

You will need a laptop or computer or ipad or other device. You could use your phone, but a larger device will be easier to see. We will use the skype, google hang out or something similar to connect for class. Will discuss closer to class!
