Patternmaking 101
The wonderful world of patternmaking is vast + inspiring, isn’t it?! In this workshop, we will learn tried + true techniques that can be applied to many different types of garments by transforming a basic, fitted skirt to an a-line, flare.
This workshop will include:
- Basic skirt patternmaking – on mannequin form + table/paper
- Transformation from basic, fitted to an a-line, flare skirt using “dart manipulations” + “slash + spread” techniques
