Intro To Quilt Math

Learn the basics of planning your own patchwork project, from simple calculations to determining amount of fabric needed. Starting with a simple quilt block and working up to a mocked-up quilt design and creating your own simple block, learn how to transform a sketch into accurate sewing!

This class is best suited to those that have taken The Basic Quilt / Skill Builder series, or have equivalent patchwork experience. Some understanding of patchwork shapes and construction will be expected.
Pre-Requisites

Advanced Beginner to Intermediate

Supplies

Pencil and eraser
Notebook for taking notes!
Ruler / Rotary cutter / mat (we have extras at the studio too, if you are not able to bring them)
Calculator (phone calculator is fine!)
Scrap quilting cottons, or a pair of fat quarters, to sew one quilt block
