- 3/4 yard of Exterior Fabric (quilting cotton)
- 1 yard of Lining Fabric (quilting cotton)
- 1 large spool or 2 small spools of all-purpose polyester thread
- Plastic side-release/parachute buckle (it should be able to accommodate 1” wide strap)
For zipper there are 2 options, choose either option below:
Option 1: This is the option you will use if purchasing supplies from Firecracker Fabrics!!
- Purchase zipper by the yard in a color of your choice from Firecracker fabrics and this can be used for all 3 zippers needed. If you have zipper by the yard and need to know if you have enough left from a prior project please reach out to me.
Option 2: This is most likely the option you will use if you purchase zippers elsewhere.
Purchase the following 3 zippers:
- 40” handbag zipper – a parka zipper will also work (not invisible and not separating, not metal)
- 16” or longer all-purpose/dress zipper (not invisible and not separating, not metal)
- 12” or longer (23cm) all-purpose/dress zipper (not invisible and not separating, not metal)
*Some supplies, including the pattern, foam, interfacing, mesh and elastic are included in the cost of the camp and will be provided for your student at the camp. This should simplify the supply purchase! If you would like a copy of the digital pattern or instructions after camp that will be provided to you for future makes at home!
