Wiksten Top – Virtual Pattern Basics

Learn about the basics of using a commercial sewing pattern in this virtual 3 part class.  During the first class discuss sizing, fabric/grain, and basics of reading the pattern, etc. Talk about appropriate fabric choices for the project.  The 2nd and 3rd classes you will be guided through the construction process to make a 3/4 sleeve top.  Once complete you will have the skills to start tackling new projects or make the longer versions included with your pattern!  Students should be comfortable using their sewing machine at home (no experience with using a pattern is necessary)  Please note first session is 1 hour only, session 2 & 3 are each 2 hours.
