Once the class schedule is posted, students should register for classes as far in advance as possible to ensure a spot in the class. There are many classes that fill up almost immediately. In the event that a class cancellation is made by the Studio for any reason, the students enrolled will be refunded the full amount of the class or the student may decide to use the payment as credit at the studio and transfer it to another class.
Canceling or Transferring a Class Registration (by student): Class registration may be canceled and a refund will be given in the form of a class credit for the total amount of the class if the cancellation is made at least 5 calendar days from the class start date (not including class start date). However, if a cancellation is made less than 5 days from the scheduled class we will do everything we can to try and fill your spot in the class so that your payment can be credited to a future class, however we cannot guarantee this with a late cancellation. FOR CLASSES THAT ARE MORE THAN 2 SESSIONS THERE IS A 2 WEEK REQUIREMENT TO CANCEL AND FOR MULTI-SESSION KIDS CLASSES AND CAMPS there is a 4 week policy to cancel a registration in a class in order to receive credit for a future class. Otherwise, credit will only be given if that person’s spot in the class can be filled.
*Please remember that I am a small business, and although I do my best to be flexible, when a student drops from a class last minute and requests to be placed in another class free of charge that student is taking 2 spots in a class and only paying for one. While this may not mean much to a large corporation, it does affect a small business. And it can often be very difficult and time consuming to try to fill a spot in a class last minute. Please try and provide as much time as you can if your plans have changed and you need to drop from a class.
No refunds or makeup sessions will be given for missed classes. If you are aware that you will need to miss a class please contact studio, or if for personal reasons you need to miss or sickness. Makeups are not guaranteed, but sometimes there may be a makeup opportunity or another class you could sign up for or a private lesson you could pay for in order to finish a project.
REFUND POLICY - generally speaking we do not issue refunds. Please understand that when we issue a full refund as a small business I do loose money because of credit card processing fees which I still pay on a refunded payment. In extenuating circumstances, sometimes a refund will be given instead of a credit. This will be taken on a case by case basis. The credit card processing fee however will not be refunded.
