Instructor: Mark Drummond
Recommended Experience Level: All Levels (prior sewing experience not necessary as this class does not involve sewing)
Supply List:
Supplies Included in cost of class:
1/2″ plywood
Upholstery Tacks

You may choose to purchase a kit for $20 which includes 2″ foam and poly batting for your project or you can choose to bring your own. Please specify when you order in notes or via email if you would like to purchase a supply kit. If you do not purchase the kit you will need to bring to class:
Approximately 18″ x 18″ x 2″ piece of high density foam (which we will cut to size)
approximately 26″ x 26″ piece of low-med loft batting

Additional Supplies you must bring to class:
You will need at least a 26″ square piece of fabric – so if you are purchasing it by the yard you will want to get a 3/4 yard cut of fabric
Fabric should not be silk, no sheer or stretchy fabrics. Preferably with fabric pattern woven in, but can use screen printed fabric. Fabric should not be too thick. Good to use a pattern of some sort or plaid or stripe to work with learning about alignment of pattern. Home decor weight fabric or canvas type fabric are good choices.

The following tools will also be needed
Upholstery Regulator

Tack Remover

Magnetic tack hammer

OPTIONAL: “milk crate” (note it is not a real milk crate)
