The cost of the camp includes the cost of the PDF pattern which will be printed full scale for class use for each student. You will also have access to the pdf pattern for future use if you like, email me for a copy.
The “Olive dress” comes in 2 size options
2T-10
and Tween 10-16
You can view the size chart
here.
Please let me know if your child will need the “girls” sizing or the “tween” sizing.
The Pattern is included in the cost of the camp, so you DO NOT need to purchase the pattern!
For tween sizes 10-16 Fabric Requirements:
You can choose 1 fabric for the whole dress, or use a separate fabric for the different parts. I have it broken down so you can get what you need
Tween Skirt – 2 yards
Tween Bodice – 1 yard
Tween Bodice Lining – 1 ya
* If using the same fabric for bodice and bodice lining, you will need 1.75 yards total for that part
* If using the same fabric for the entire dress please get 3.5 yards total
For 7-10 girls sizing Fabric Requirements:
You can choose 1 fabric for the whole dress, or use a separate fabric for the different parts. I have it broken down so you can get what you need
Kids Skirt – 1.75 yards
Kids Bodice – 1/2 yard
Kids Bodice Lining – 1/2 yard
* If using the same fabric for bodice and bodice lining, you will need 1 yards total
* If using the same fabric for the entire dress please get 2.5 yards total
*All students will need 1 large or 2 small spools of all-purpose thread for the dress.
*All students will need 2 yards of a ribbon (1/4″ -5/8″ wide) or 2 yards of 1/4″ wide double fold bias tape which we can use as a tie closure.
*Fabric Recommendations – quilting cottons, cotton sateen or other light-mid weight woven fabrics. Only more advanced students should choose something slippery for this dress. No knit(stretch) fabrics. It is a full skirt that layers in the front so nothing too thick, stiff or bulky.
For students who finish early we can choose a small scrap busting project like a matching wristlett or another project of their choice. Please do not purchase any supplies in advance for this as it will be determined as the week progresses.
