Winter Mini Camp
Afternoon camp is full but we have added a morning session!
Looking for something fun to do this winter break? Join us at the studio for a mini camp where we will make an animal themed scarf perfect for the cold winter days ahead and if time permits you will also make a pair of mittens to match. This camp is for students ages 6 and up who have prior experience.
Recommended Experience Level: All Levels who have taken Intro class. Prerequisite: Intro To Sewing For Kids (or similar). If your child has already taken classes at the studio they are able to take this class :)
- 1 spool of all-purpose thread in coordinating color
- 1/2 yard of fabric for main scarf fabric
Fleece or flannel for standard difficulty level, minky fabric for an added challenge - A variety of fleece, flannel, or cotton remnants for the animal features. We do have scraps to share.
- 1/4 yard of fusible fleece if quilting cotton is used otherwise you do not need this
1/4 yard of fleece for coordinating mittens (optional follow-up project if time allows – if your child works through projects quickly they will more likely work on this project as well)
