Free Range Slacks

Come sew these stylish, elastic high waist pants, perfect for looking polished but staying comfortable. You’ll learn lots of different techniques in this class such as how to sew slash pockets, patch pockets, french and flat-fell leg seams, and two different options for installing an elastic waistband. The pattern comes in sizes 00-34 and you can choose between a tapered or a wide leg style. This is a great pattern for your first foray into sewing pants!

NOTE: The printed pattern only goes up to size 20 but the curvy PDF goes up to size 34!

Printed Free Range Slacks pattern from Firecrackerfabrics.com or you can order the PDF if you want to do the curvy fit which goes up to size 34. The printed pattern goes up to size 20. If you are unsure just ask!

Fabric as required by your size and which leg style you choose to make.

Elastic (1.5″ wide)

You will also need all your basic at home supplies, iron, scissors, pins or clips, seam ripper, sewing machine!

You will also need a laptop, ipad or tablet to connect via zoom. Zoom link to be sent prior to class. You can use a phone but it’s not ideal as the screen is small.

*You will need to cut out your pattern and fabric prior to the first class so that you can start with sewing in the first session. Please let us know if you have any questions before cutting!
