“I Spy” Quilt Camp
Make an “I spy” quilt this summer! Learn basic quilting techniques such as piecing, quilting, binding and using a walking foot! Campers will make a lap/baby size quilt in this camp. For students entering 2nd-9th grade with prior sewing experience.
If your child is more advanced and would like to make a slightly larger or more complex quilt please check with me in advance.
Must have taken at least the Intro to Sewing Camp or series of classes or other similar experience. Please check with me if unsure. For students entering 2nd-9th grade with prior sewing experience.
*Main Fabric for Quilt will be provided*Â If you have any special scraps of fabric you would like to use in the quilt feel free to bring in.
1.25 yards of approx. 45″ wide quilting cotton for back of quilt
1.25 yards of 45″ or wider batting (prefer cotton batting, 1/4″ thick)
1/2 yard of fabric for binding – quilting cotton
2 small spools or one large spool for piecing and quilting, all-purpose thread
