Kids Weekly Sewing Classes – Returning Students (school year)
For students who have taken my intro to sewing camp/class or other similar experience in grades 1st-8th (sometimes younger high school students will also take this class, but high school students are permitted to take adult classes). Students will select their project with the instructor’s help. Students will bring supplies for the project of their choice!
Class Options:
- Spring- Friday (4:30-6:30) 8 classes total
- Spring- Saturday (12:30pm-2:30pm) – 8 total classes
- Spring– Sunday MORNING (10:45am-12:45pm)- 7 total classes
- Spring– Sunday AFTERNOON (1pm-3pm)- 7 total classes
No class on Sunday May 10th, mother’s day
No classes Easter/Passover weekend
- Summer Camps are 1-week long.
- School Year classes are once per week
- Note for Winter classes – if we have a snow day – extra session will be added the week following when the session ends as a makeup.

Recommended Experience Level: All Levels who have taken Intro class. Prerequisite: Intro To Sewing For Kids (or similar) * I ask that you let me know if your child needs to miss a session, whether you know in advance or if it’s a last minute occurrence due to illness or if your child needs to quarantine and cannot attend. Knowing that I have an opening is the only way I can open that spot up for another student. If possible, I will do my best to offer a makeup. Makeups are NOT guaranteed!
Students will need to bring supplies for their selected project. Please discuss project options with the instructor prior to class. Firecracker Fabrics carries lots of patterns and options for the kids to choose from, but if you are unsure or still somewhat new to sewing it is best to discuss with me in advance of shopping to help with selecting something appropriate! Firecracker will not be able to advise you on a project or what you are able to do since they will not know your skill level. Please shop in advance, it is not always possible to shop during class as it depends on the stores hours and times of the class.
