Joggers – Hudson or Mel

The perfect pants to cozy up this fall!  These joggers are comfortable enough to wear around the house, but can easily be dressed up to go run errands. The urban fit of these pants leaves a bit of extra room around the hips and then tapers into a skinny leg. Depending on your size preference you can choose from either the Hudson by True Bias or Mel from Seamwork.  For the Hudson pant View A is a full length pant and View B is midcalf.  This class is a 2 day in person class.

Pre-Requisites

Advanced Beginner or Intermediate level.

Must know how to thread and operate the sewing machine.  Should have prior experience using a pattern as you will need to cut paper pattern out prior to class.  We will begin first class by cutting fabric.

It is okay if you have not used knits before.

Supplies
For class you will need the Hudson Pant pattern (or another similar option if you okay it by me such as the Mel Jogger by Seamwork).  The Hudson is available from Firecracker Fabrics.  Seamwork are PDF.
Prior to class you will want to piece together(or trace) if necessary and cut out the paper pattern, we will cut the fabric in the studio.  If you are unsure of your size, please check in advance.  You will want to make sure you choose the size based on your body measurements and following the size chart.  Make sure to prewash fabric to preshrink.
Then you will want your fabric, thread cord and elastic as required by the pattern.
**In an effort to reduce the amount of sanitizing needed to take place, please plan to bring basic sewing tools with you:

Fabric Marking Tool
This is also a great place to order pdf patterns from:
Hudson Pant goes up to size 18 or 46.5″ hip
