Josie Hoodie

The Josie Hoodie features a beautiful funnel-neck hood, relaxed fit, raglan sleeves, shoulder darts, and a curved hemline finished with a facing. This sweatshirt is perfect for getting cozy this winter. All sewing will be done on a regular sewing machine, so if you want to learn about sewing with stretch fabric without a serger this is a great class! Plus, this pattern goes from size 0-26!

Pre-Requisites

Recommended Experience Level: Beginner-Advanced beginner. You should be able to thread and comfortably operate a sewing machine and understand basic cutting principles and how to sew a seam. It is okay if this is your first garment project, however you should have at least one sewing project under your belt. It is okay to take this class with having only taken the Intro to Sewing class. If this is your first time sewing a garment, we recommend not using a slinky knit for this project!

Supplies

Style Arc Josie Hoodie Pattern (available size 0-26!)
Fabric yardage as needed for your size in a knit or sweatshirt fabric, french terry or other similar fabric.
1 spool of all-purpose thread to match

*Recommended to not do the optional drawstring tie at the bottom if you are less experienced with sewing. If your skill level is more advanced beginner/intermediate you may choose if you want to tackle the button-holes. But if you are more beginner level we suggest skipping for the first round!
