This project is for an advanced beginner to intermediate sewist and allows them to practice patchwork sewing. It is a great scrap busting project and can be made almost entirely from scraps! Plus, no pattern required. It can be used as a storage “bucket” for scraps, toys or other items and could even work as a little bag. It has a round base.
Time required – About 3 sessions
SUPPLIES FOR SCRAP BUCKET
- 1 spool of all-purpose thread
- 1/2 yard of quilting cotton for lining
- choose 3 fat quarters of your liking PLUS some of your favorite scraps from home and plan to mix with studio scraps. If you have lots of scraps to bring in you do not need to get fat quarters
- Fusible Fleece – 1/2 yard (one sided fusible)
- 1 pack of grommets like the ones we use for our drawstring backpack.
**Please note that Rope Will be provided for this project
