This unicorn plush is a great advanced beginner level project for the young sewist and will provide an opportunity to try out using fluffy/soft fabrics like fleece, and sew curves in a simple plush pattern as well as learn about making a ruffle! This is also a great opportunity to try out some simple hand embroidery on the face.

Pattern is a free pattern, student will trace a copy at the studio. No need to bring a pattern. Pattern is from hellosewing.com (feel free to check it out for other ideas)
- fabric – plush or fleece for the body and ears, could also use a quilting cotton or non-stretch flannel for a flatter look – 5/8 yard
- fabric – quilting cotton for the mane – 1/4 yard (not a fat quarter)
- fabric – accent fabric for the horn – scraps or 1/8 yard
- For the eyes we will use embroidery thread to do some basic embroidery stitches for the eyes

- 1 spool of all-purpose thread to match
